About Tamanna Kalra, M.D.

Dr. Kalra grew up locally, graduating from East Brunswick High School. She completed her Bachelor's degree at Rutgers University in chemical engineering and subsequently went on to medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey. She completed her training at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia with residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Nephrology. Dr. Kalra is a highly-skilled physician with more than 10 years of experience treating all aspects of kidney disease.

Dr. Kalra speaks English, Spanish, Gujarati and Hindi. She has a keen interest and training in meditation and yoga. She is an avid reader and enjoys time spent with her family and friends.
